About Conference

The University of Strathclyde Psychology Department, the Centre for Applied Social Psychology (CASP) and the British Psychological Society (Scottish Branch) are pleased to announce an international conference on Post-Cognitivist Psychology, to be held in Glasgow, Scotland, on the 4th, 5th, and 6th, July 2005.

This will explore new approaches being devoped by psychologists dissatisfied with the traditional 'cognitivist' paradigm, and will be of interest to psychologists, philosophers, linguists, and academics in the artificial intelligence/artificial life field.

Glasgow is Scotland's largest city and is well served by international airports and convenient road and rail links. The city is a major tourist destination and has been described as 'the finest specimen of Victorian architecture in Europe'. Glasgow benefits from internationally acclaimed museums and galleries, outstanding shopping and superb bars and restaurants. It is also at the gateway to some of Scotland's most spectacular scenery.

All conference inquiries should be addressed to Tony Anderson: tony.anderson@strath.ac.uk.
